At Avatar we are constantly teaming up with the best in the industry to bring continuing education to our staff and to fitness professional throughout the Twin Cites. We have an ongoing partnership with Gyrotonic® Minneapolis, Minneapolis’s premier Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis instructional and educational headquarter and CenterSpace Pilates. On occasion, we will also bring in professional from other movement modalities and specialties. Become a GYROTONIC Instructor
The following course is being offered through GYROTONIC® Minneapolis.
GYROTONIC® Minneapolis is Minnesota's regional center for instruction and education for GYROTONIC® and GYROTONIC® exercise methodology and the only studio authorized by Gyrotonic® International Educational Headquarters to conduct teacher training and continuing education in Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® exercise methodology in the state region.

The following course is being offered through CenterSpace Pilates.
Centerspace Pilates is licensed to offer the internationally recognized teacher-training certification from The Pilates Center of Boulder Colorado. Why select the Centerspace Teacher Training Program?
The Pilates Center program offered by Centerspace Pilates Studio is a 900-hour training program. The program includes practice, seminars and lectures with master instructors at Centerspace Pilates Studio. It is the most rigorous Pilates teacher training program available today. Students complete an average of 20 hours per week toward their internship, in activities that include observing teaching sessions, taking lessons and classes, practice teaching, personal workouts, watching videos and reading required books and attending weekly symposiums.
During the teacher training program, trainees receive:

- Teacher training student-focused classes
- Use of Centerspace Pilates facilities for personal workouts
- Use of Centerspace Pilates facilities for practice teaching
- Weekly trainee symposiums
- Access to video library of previous lectures

Teacher Training Program Fees
- Application fee $105
- Program evaluation lesson $80
- Tuition $5750
- Studio fee $500
- Teaching clinic $30 (students are required to participate in two clinics within the year long program as part of their internship
- Books and supplies $220 (approximate)
- Lessons $1,200 – $2,200 (Students are required to take 100 lessons as part of their internship. All tuition and fees described in United States dollars.)
- Payment plans are available.
Fees for formal lecture series (continuing education credits available)
Full Lecture Series: Weekend I – IV $2250 ( Deposit: $750 )
One weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday $650 ( Deposit: $300 )
One day of Lecture Series: $240 (Deposit $120)
