Avatar was formed in 2003 to create a place for clear and proper guidance for fitness and nutrition.
Exercise should be fun and movement based; resistance training is an integral part of neuromuscular health, but weight lifting is based upon the sport of competitive body building. For us, and for our clients, this is not the goal, so the conventional exercises and programs are not applicable.
The staff at Avatar combine knowledge of yoga, Kettlebells, Pilates, Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® with resistance training to help clients find true health and true strength. All the trainers posses a background in many movement modalities with an interdisciplinary approach.
