Training is more than lifting weights and getting sweaty. It’s learning how your body relates to the physical world and what occurs when that connection is lost. It’s rediscovering your body, movement and health.
Spencer Bradford’s personal training philosophy: Train movements, not muscles. Rather then trying to spot train biceps or sculpting abdominals, often to no avail, one should train their body for performance specific movements. Your body, muscles and aesthetics will develop accordingly.
Spencer has invested years of into working with dozens of movement modalities: training both himself and others: beginning with Thai Boxing and Filipino kali at age 12 and later adding strength training, kettlebell training, functional training, especially for sports applications, cycling, and most recently, Gyrokinesis® and Gyrotonic®.
